the portal next to him leads you to a range shop and others.



Home is Edge. portal leads you to barrows. ( use varrock teleport to go to edge )



Ardounge teleport, go there and you will see a portal, that leads you to catherby.



Hans in Lumbridge sells skillcapes.



Use the magic interface to teleport around places.
